Oomukade is a legendary giant centipede yokai, known for its immense length, terrifying speed, and relentless nature. Said to dwell in mountains and deep forests, it is feared not only by humans, but even by powerful beings such as dragons.

Unlike slow-moving giants, Oomukade embodies constant motion. Its many legs allow it to surge forward with unnatural speed, making escape nearly impossible once it sets its sights on a target.

In this illustration, the massive creature coils across the landscape, its segmented body stretching over mountains, forests, and rivers. The small figures below emphasize its overwhelming scale, while the curvature of its body creates a sense of continuous movement, as if it could strike at any moment.

大百足 ― 山を這う巨大な捕食者

恐怖とは、大きさだけではなく、その動きによっても生まれる。

大百足（おおむかで）は、日本の伝承に登場する巨大なムカデの妖怪で、その圧倒的な長さと凄まじい速さで知られています。山や森に潜み、人間だけでなく、時には龍さえも獲物にすると語られています。

巨大な存在でありながら、決して鈍重ではなく、むしろ異様な速さで獲物に迫る存在。それが大百足の恐ろしさです。無数の足によって生まれる動きは逃げ場を与えず、視界に入った瞬間にすでに遅いと言われています。

本作品では、その長大な体が山々や森、川をまたぐように描かれ、圧倒的なスケール感が表現されています。足元の小さな人々や建物との対比によって、その存在がいかに異質であるかが強調されています。また、体のうねりが画面全体に動きを与え、今にも襲いかかるかのような緊張感を生み出しています。

繰り返される節構造はリズム感を生み出し、視線を自然に導く構成となっています。同時に、各節には適度な余白が設けられており、細密な塗り込みと大胆な着色の両方を楽しめる設計になっています。
